Lots of fun reading in October 2022, as I managed to read 7 books. The books and the links to buy them are listed below.
Remember life is way too short to read a book that you don’t like, so read what interests you. Happy reading!
Power and Thrones: A New History of the Middle Ages by Dan Jones – a fascinating look at the Middle Ages by British author Dan Jones. Read this one for my history book club.
Acorn: A Short Steampunk Adventures: Magnificent Devices Book Seventeen by Shelley Adina – Another fun adventure from Adina’s steampunk world, this story focuses on Lady Claire’s secretary Lewis. Currently sold on Adina’s website.
All the Queen’s Men: Her Majesty the Queen Investigates Book 2 S.J. Bennett – Book 2 in the Queen Elizabeth solves murders series, a little darker than the 1st book, but still fun.
Enola Holmes: Mycroft’s Dangerous Game story by Nancy Springer, author Mickey George, artist Giorgia Sposito, and colorist Enrica Angiolini – Enola is trying to rescue Mycroft from anarchists.
Star Trek: Lower Decks #1 by Ryan North and artist Chris Fenoglio – The fab four are on the holodeck and you know that trouble follows.
The Tuesday Club by Katherine Neville – Ben Franklin in Paris! Fun cameos by other founding fathers and future presidents.
The Windsor Knot: Her Majesty the Queen Investigates Book 1 by S.J. Bennett – an adorably fun mystery as Queen Elizabeth sets out to solve the murder of a Russian pianist with the help of her Assistant Private Secretary Rozie. Just as fun as you think its going to be.
