July 2022 Reads

Lots of fun reading in July 2022, as I managed to read 6 books. The books and the links to buy them are listed below.

Remember life is way too short to read a book that you don’t like, so read what interests you and makes you happy. Happy reading!

Holmes and Me: Reflections on the World’s Greatest Consulting Detective by the Crew and Passengers of The Barque Lone Star, edited by Steve Mason, and formatted by Liese Sherwood-Fabre – what does Holmes mean to you is the question of this book by this Texas scion society of the Baker Street Irregulars. I have a chapter in the book and so that made it all the more fun.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore – The Complete Screenplay by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves – the screenplay based on the movie, a few new parts, but I was hoping for more information.

Neil Gaiman’s Chivalry by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Colleen Doran and lettering by Todd Klein – a nice twist on the Holy Grail myth as only Neil Gaiman can do.

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy – one of the best books I have read in a long time – about many things including friendship, love, hope, and kindness.

I Will Judge You by Your Bookshelf by Grant Snider – very funny comics about reading, writing, and literature.

Finale: The Lost Decades of Uncle Chow Tung by Ian Hamilton – the 4th book coving Uncle Chow and his death.
