Well if you guessed the little blue guys you would be correct! Smurfs or Schtroumpfs (as they are known in Belgian) began life 50 years ago as a comic strip. So for their big 50, they are getting a new movie, stamps, comic books and a whole new line of female smurfs! Yes, no longer will Smurfette be the only girl in town.
Hopefully this will increase the value of my Smurf action figures that I got in the 80s!
