Flying the Sim!

Due to my foot surgery, the continued pain from foot surgery, bad weather, and the fact that the Sundowner is getting a new engine, I have not been flying in a while. So I have been working on ground for the past few months (which is the book knowledge that one needs to pass the FAA written test). But today I did something different and flew a sim! A simulated airplane. I had flown a sim a few years ago, just a demo flight at an aviation day event, for a few minutes and was not impressed. My other sim experience was in the 747 a few years ago. The 747 sim was amazing! So I was not too sure what to expect. It was interesting, hard to do (some things are very life like, while other things are not very real), and I am not sure that I liked it. I mean I had a good time and its always a good thing to have new experiences, but the actual flying of the sim – I am not too sure about. Hmmm.
