My dissertation corrections were accepted today from the graduate school! Another step completed!
So it turns out that there are many steps to completing a dissertation and having your committee approve your dissertation is just the beginning. Paperwork, forms, surveys, checklists, and signatures by a host of people are all part of the process. The graduate school looks over your dissertation and sends you back corrections before they will accept it. So last week I received the corrections and this week I fixed them and sent them back. Luckily there were no further corrections to my corrections and all were accepted. Reality check – until you see the degree listed on your transcript you are not done. To be continued…
