Day 2 of the TESOL/TESL/TEFL class. Sadly my sister Michelle dropped the class because she was not feeling well, but she was not the only one. We lost around 5 people and now the class is down to about 15 people. Today’s agenda called for: homework review, 2nd language acquisition, teaching children, multilevel classroom, classroom management (classroom setup and group dynamics), and lesson planning. A few students also presented their mini-assignment ESL game (the best one was ‘Simon Says’ which I probably have not played in 30 years!). Its a beautiful campus, so during lunch I walked around a bit and looked at a few buildings and some of the flowers. Then after class was over, it was off to work, making for a really long day.
