The Third Floor Gallery at the Metropolitan State University Library is currently exhibiting some wonderful art. “Common Ground: New Work by Julie Buffalohead and Jim Denomie” showcases some beautiful and funny (yes, funny) works of art. The exhibit runs until December 12, 2008.
These are the two I liked the best and would love to have hanging on my walls (if I had the money and space!). The first one is by Julie Buffalohead and is called “Hostage” and the second one is called “Edward Curtis, Paparazzi – Chicken Hawks” by Jim Denomie.
