A library colleague came across an article that I co-authored and writes: “I came across your article from Collaborative Librarianship in LISTA, which contains a curious subject term. Intentional or not, it kind of fits.” The subject heading that was created is “Civil War”! The article that I had co-authored is on staffing the Reference Desk! Hehe, this had me giggling all day (must be a librarian thing). Subject headings are often created automatically by computers, who do not read the articles, and sometimes they come up with creative subject terms.
