Today I attended part 1 of the Boreas Integrative Leadership Development Workshop. It started a bit early, well a lot early, and went from 8:30am-4pm. The two day workshop is “based on the fundamental premise that successful integrative leaders (weather or not they are individuals in positions of formal authority) are adept at fostering collective action across boundaries to advance the common good” (Handout 10/30/15). It was really interesting, had some great speakers, and a fantastic lunch.
I also wore socks today! All day! This is only the third time since surgery that I have worn socks all day. The sock hurt, but not as much as last week and there was not as much swelling. The healing continues!
