Today is my birthday!
And what am I doing today? Working! Fun…Not! Sundays are a bit slow in the library, so that will be nice, but I am still sick, so not too fun. Its also my sisters (the evil twin) and my grandmothers birthday too. I hear that they will be doing fun stuff today.
When you are a kid, birthdays are the exciting and fun, but when you are an adult they are just another day of the week.
The fun part of my birthday this year is my gift. I saved up my Christmas money (yes I know, how odd is that! I am soo not the saving kind of girl) and pooled it with my Birthday money (plus a little bit extra, well a lot extra) and bought a briefcase from Saddleback Leather Company. I first ordered a Messenger Bag, but it was too small, so then I upgraded to a Briefcase. Then they sent me the wrong color, the Dark Tobacco Brown instead of the Dark Coffee Brown. There is a huge difference in color. So I had to send that one back and wait for the new one, plus deal with trying to get the refund from the Messenger Bag. After many emails with Customer Service, it finally arrived. Ahh…its a thing of beauty. You can smell the leather from the other room. It holds a ton of stuff, including a 17 lbs kitty named Che!
