Home from Arizona!
I spent the past few days in Arizona doing some primarily research on the Indian Women Pilots Association (my next research project) and was very fortunate to be able to spend time talking to two incredible female pilots. While in Tucson I was able to visit the Pima Air & Space Museum, the Saguaro National Monument, have lunch with some of local Tucson 99s, take a fabulous ride in a Piper Archer (where I also got to fly the plane for a few minutes while listening to the Beatles over the speakers. Flying to the Beatles is way, way cool!) and meet some fabulous people. Many, many thanks to Chanda, Rabia, Ahmed, Doug, and Junaid.
