Halloween and All Hallow’s Read came a bit early. This afternoon my favorite niece and nephew stopped over today to receive their books (Julian received “Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving” by Dav Pilkey and Louisa received “The Night Before Halloween” by Natasha Wing) and a large blue gummy bear.
“All Hallow’s Read” is a new holiday where you give a scary book to someone (checkout its website http://www.allhallowsread.com/). YES, it’s a book giving holiday!!! It originated with Neil Gaiman a few years ago. Be cool and buy a book for someone for “All Hallow’s Read.”
