A bad tire, a Biplane, and a windy Thursday

Apparently the fates did not want me to fly today. After pre-flighting the Sundowner this morning, Instructor Cheryl and I found that one of the tires was showing some threads. Not good. So we had to cancel the flight, but then Cheryl decided that we could take up a different Sundowner. The other Sundowner is very cute, but even its cuteness was no match for the strong winds (before we took off the tower guys joked that our being bumped around due to the strong winds is going to make them nauseous! Haha). Taxing to the runway we were in behind a Biplane! Turns out the winds were really bad and gusting something fierce, so after one landing we called it a day.
