I went to see my podiatrist today due to the pain and my toe’s movement or lack there of. Its healing nicely, 9 months to the date from surgery, there is still deep scaring, and some swelling that still needs to go away, was the message from the doctor. So it was time for another cortisone’ish (the pain medication actually had a long and different name- which I don’t remember) shot. The shot hurt! But there was no crying, swearing, or yelling on my part, so that is an improvement.
